Dovelet child safety standards
Last updated: October 23, 2026
- Zero tolerance. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation, any imagery involving child sexual abuse, and any behavior intended to groom a child for sexual purposes.
- Adults only. Dovelet is for people 18 and older. We ask for your date of birth when you register and, where your phone supports it, also use age information from Apple or Google. We close accounts belonging to anyone under 18.
- No connections with strangers. The app has no search, recommendations, or public profiles. Two people connect only through an invitation link or code and the inviter's approval.
- How to report. On any content in the app, tap "..." > Report > "Someone under 18 or a child." Outside the app: [email protected]. If a child is in danger right now, call your local emergency number first.
- What we do. We review every report within 2 days. These reports are urgent, and our target is 24 hours. We immediately restrict access to the content, close the account, securely keep evidence for the period required by law, and report to the authorities required by law. In the United States, this is NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children). We assist with lawful requests from authorities.
- Contact person. Child Safety Contact: the app's developer, [email protected].
