Dovelet Community Rules

By signing up for Dovelet, you accept these rules and the Terms of Use. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

1. Adults choosing together

Dovelet is for people 18 and older. The server checks your date of birth during registration; anyone under 18 cannot register. We close accounts belonging to anyone under 18.

Dovelet is free. You pair with only one partner at a time, through an invitation and approval. Touches, notes, moods, and the shared plant are for the two of you. There are no public profiles or spaces to connect with strangers.

We respect every kind of couple. Do not pressure your partner to reply, share, or stay in the relationship. Respect their right to say no, leave an invitation unanswered, and make their own decisions. Do not pressure them to give you access to their phone, password, or location.

2. What is prohibited

Content and behavior must comply with laws and store rules. Being paired does not remove these rules.

3. Report or block

You can report a note or a person and block the person in the app. Reported content is sent to us for review. You do not need to wait for a decision to block someone.

Blocking ends the pairing and prevents new invitations. You can also end the pairing without blocking. Neither requires your partner's permission. Both people lose access to shared content. Your partner receives no notification; they see that the pairing has ended when they open the app. You can delete your account in the app.

For reports or help outside the app: [email protected].

4. After a report

We review every report within 2 days. For urgent cases, such as child safety, threats, or self-harm, our target is 24 hours. These times refer to starting the review, not a promise of a final decision within that time.

The Claude API reviews reports automatically every day, including weekends. It immediately hides content flagged as serious and queues it for review. The app's owner makes the final decision.

A review may result in no action, content removal, a warning, a 7-day account suspension, or account closure. A violation after two warnings leads to suspension; a violation after suspension leads to account closure. Serious violations, such as threats or child safety violations, do not have to follow that sequence. An evidence copy of removed content is kept under the applicable retention rules.

For child abuse and exploitation, we restrict access to the content, close the account, preserve evidence securely for the legally required period, and make the required official report. The app's owner is responsible for these reports. In the US, reports go to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children). See the Child Safety Standards for details.

If a child or anyone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.

5. Appeals and contact

You can appeal a decision by writing to [email protected]. We respond within 7 days. Where possible, someone other than the person who made the first decision reviews the appeal.

Read the Privacy Policy for information about processing and retaining your data.
